The bios are probably purposely vague, because the movie details were still incomplete. More than just a spoiler concern, the script for the movie probably wasn't even finalized when Hasbro (and Marvel) had to put those toys into production. the profiles were sort of open-ended, and probably deliberately. As a kid, I thought his (and Magnus) as 'City Commander' role meant that they were in charge of things back on Cybertron, while on the front (Earth) the struggle continued with Prime and Megatron.Д«UT. The proof is in the pudding.Wether it was some kind of mistake does not change the fact of how the bio reads.Д¬lick to expand.I'm not saying that the Tech Spec couldn't be interpreted as Galvatron being another pretender to the throne. Wether it was a mistake,communication issues or what ever.Galvatrons toy bio reads as if he was a different character. I can believe that the bio was written to intentionally mis-lead the buyers so as to not reveal part of the plot of the movie but how Galvatrons bio reads was no mistake or cause by bad communication.ДЄnd even if that were the problem, it wouldnt change what I said. The toy bios were a creation of Marvel comics and Hasbro.ДЄnd all of the toy bios up till the 1988/89 run were written by 1 man so saying its a possible 'bad internal communications issue' is a poor cop out.

Takara and its adds has nothing to do with the issue.Takara had little to no say so on the direction of the characters. had Galvatron pegged as a different character.They even went as far as having the voice of Megatron introduce Galvatron in the toy adds. Even the the old toy commercials in the U.S.
